We hosted a family dinner to celebrate my father-in-law's 77th birthday. It was a full day of cooking in the kitchen with my sister in law. I've always enjoyed the bonding process when women get together to cook - all the chatting and laughing is good for the soul. The children also had a great time spending time with their older cousins as we only see them a few times a year.
