Ansan, or An Mountain, is one of several mountains found around Seoul, in close proximity to downtown Seoul. Ansan mountain has some historical significance as it was a point of communication when smoke signals carried messages across the kingdom.The mountain also happens to be in our back yard so there is very little excuse for us not to trek up there from time to time. It is a short climb but the view is quite amazing, and you can even see the Han River on a clear day. Why did we climb? Because it was there....
