We decided to check out the hiking trail behind our apartment last Sunday afternoon. We didn't know what to expect so we were pleasantly surprised. First we saw ripe orange persimmons dangling from trees, then a number of different trails going up and along the side of the mountain. Stephanie and I went back yesterday and discovered a littlle "farm" as she calls it. There were bunny rabbits and guinea pigs chomping on leaves, and some cat fish in the pond. She thought they were so cute that she would want to buy one. We decided that since they lived so close to us, it was kind of like owning them. I suggested that we go back tomorrow and give some of them names, and she agreed that it was a good idea. Whew...
