We awoke to a white blanket of snow covering everything in sight. The fresh white snow was exactly what the children had been waiting for to make their snowman. They raced outside, and I soon heard Michael yell, "it's packing snow!!" The next time I looked out into the back garden I saw the children rolling a huge ball of snow. Then a little later Michael came in and asked for a carrot stick and some buttons. I also gave him some leftover grapes which the children used for the mouth and buttons. They spent a good few hours out in the cold to create this Snowman. Unofrtunately, when they went back out in the afternoon, someone had destroyed it and we were all very sad.
