Today Michael ran in the cross country meet at Riverdale Park. He and 6 of his friends in his grade ran against over ninety kids from other schools in the South region. Michael came in 12th place, breaking his record which was 13th place last year, and is going to go on to the Regional meet on next Monday. Michael was the only one who made it to the next level, and he is a little sad to be going alone but we are extremely happy for Michael as he not only made it to the next level, but that he tried his best and achieved his goal which was to do better than he did last year. Way to go Michael!!
Congratulations Michael. You are such a good runner. Maybe you can teach me how to run long distance when we see eachother again, but don't run away from me because you know I'll never be able to catch you.
