The kids and I went to the Sprockets Toronto Children's Film Festival showing of Jump Cuts, which is a collection of movies made by kids in different age categories. On this occasion, we saw movies made by kids from grades 7-12. There were about 20 films, and all very impressively done. The last one, which I didn't want to stay for as we had been sitting for nearly 2 hours in the theatre, was the best. It was a Lego film, and Michael was thrilled that he stayed until the end to see it. It was meaningful for Michael as he has been wanting to film his lego characters and space ships. He was inspired again and has decided to enter the contest in a few years.
Before the movie, the kids visited some activities booths. Stephanie got a tattoo of a basketball on her hand, and Jessica and Michael got a bruise and scar from the speical effects booth.
