After lunch at Yulim, we strolled along Sejongno and dropped in at Ilmin Gallery to see a photo exhibit of Korean photographers under the theme of ideal beauty. It was basically a collection of stunning shots of scenes of the Korean landscape in terms of old temples/ palaces in its natural setting. As we had just seen and learned about Korean buildings at Deoksu palace, we were able to appreciate the photographs better. We crossed the street to walk past the water fountain in front of the General Yi Sunshin monument and to the King Sejong monument. There we went underground to view the exhibit. The underground museum is connected to the Sejong Art Centre where we eventually exited.
