Once a month at Stephanie's kindergarten, kids are asked to wear the traditional Korean Hanbok. On this day, kids play traditional Korean games in the yard and listen to Korean folk tales. Last month Stephanie was the only child to not be in a hanbok as I did not prepare one in advance. Fortunately, this month Stephanie was happy to be in full gear as a friend of mine had saved her daughter's old one and was happy to pass it on to us. Though she thought it was not very pretty and suggested that I go out and get a prettier and more "trendy" one, Stephanie and I both agreed that this was just fine and quite pretty in our eyes. Thank you Do Eun for your hanbok!! Stephanie will wear it well.
