We got out of bed at 6:00 and readied ourselves to leave the house by 7:00.School starts at 8:10, but it takes about an hour by car from our inlaws'. We can't wait
to move into our new place which is literally a 5 minute drive or short walk from the school. It's not for another 2 and a half weeks though...
The kids are enrolled in the British school of the SFS, and are required to wear uniforms. The children all look so much more organized and disciplined in their uniforms. The whole experience is very exciting for the kids as they meet children from all over the world. Jessica made new friends today who are from Singapore, Australia and China.
The kids had a tour of the campus yesterday and were very excited and overwhelmed by the sheer size and extent of facilities. For example, they have swimming and tennis lessons as part of their PE curriculum.
Both Jessica and Michael were nervous this morning, as you can see in the pictures, but seemed like returning students by day's end. Poor Stephanie missed her siblings all day long as she asked for "unnee", much like Samara, and decided that she would do her homework as well while her older siblings were at school. She got out of bed this morning with a big smile on her face exclaiming that she loved school. Poor girl...
Ironically, in the past two days at this school, I ran into one of Cat's friends from childhood, and an old colleague of mine from Kyunghee University. What a small world.
We miss you guys! Wish we were there to talk about your first day of school over dinner. Hope to see you in the fall.

You are all on Samara's farm (her favourite song these days is Old MacDonald, i.e. Little Samara had a farm...) - no animals on that farm, except for a dog of course, but you four are on it!
