Today Jessica and Michael went to Varsity Stadium to compete in the Regional Meet. Unfortunately, the weather was not cooperative and poured cats and dogs while Michael was waiting on the field to run his relay race. It took everything in my willpower to stop myself from running out on the field with an umbrella to protect my little boy. All the kids were great sports as there was not a single complaint about the cold or wet clothes. Only in Canada do people defy the weather and go on doing what they had planned. Jessica ran in the grade 6 girls relay and the 100 m race in which she came 2nd and 3rd respectively. Michael also ran in the grade 3 boys relay and in the 200 m race and finished 3rd in both races. Both kids were great sports and had great fun cheering for their school.
I am so impressed with your athletic abilities. Maybe you can teach me how to be more athletic when we see eachother in Korea. Congratulations Jessica and Michael!
