Happy Mother's Day
Today we gathered at Hana's house to celebrate Mother's Day in honor of all the mothers in the family, and of course the queen mother, Grandma. It was a beautiful sunny day and as usual, we had a feast. We are very blessed to be able to share these special occasions with four generations of family. Thank you to Hana's family and Phil's mom for hosting and preparing the food and to all the cousins for the yummy desserts. A mom's work is never done as she works tirelessly to care for her family. I know that we all love our moms and can't ever thank them enough, but it's nice that we can designate one day in the year to honor and celebrate our moms. We love you Umma!
